Montserrat Monastery Opening Hours
You can visit Montserrat Mountain at any time, but there are specific hours for the church, the Black Madonna, and other sights and attractions in the Montserrat Monastery complex.
The Basilica (Church) at Montserrat Monastery is open daily from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
The Throne of Our Lady (the Black Madonna), is open daily from 8 a.m. until 10.30 a.m. and from 12 p.m. until 6.25 p.m.
The Museum of Montserrat is open daily from 10 a.m. until 5.45 p.m.
The Holy Grotto, Santa Cova, is open everyday from 10.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Want to attend religious services at the church or hear the famous Boys Choir perform?
The main mass is held at 11 a.m. everyday, but there are services daily at other times as well. Note that access for cultural visits may be restricted around mass times.
The Boys Choir usually performs at 1 p.m. and 7.10 p.m. everyday from Monday to Thursday, at 1 p.m. on Friday, and at 11 a.m. and 6.45 p.m. on Sundays. They do not perform on Saturdays or school holidays.
