Montserrat Monastery Tickets

If you aren’t a resident of Spain, you’ll need to buy a ticket to access the Basilica, where the famous Black Madonna is housed, and tickets to other parts of the monastery complex you wish to see.
A combination ticket affords you access to the Basilica, timed entry for the Throne Room of the Black Madonna, and the Montserrat Museum. This combination ticket is currently 23,00 € online. If you choose not to visit the Throne Room, you pay 20,00 € online.
You need a specific ticket to experience the Escolania de Montserrat: the renowned boys’ choir. This ticket is not included in popular package options. It currently costs 25,00 € to access the Basilica and the Museum, plus view the Black Madonna and hear the choir perform.
If you plan to visit Montserrat from Barcelona, you may want to consider a ticket that includes round-trip transport as well as admission to Montserrat Monastery attractions.
While you can buy tickets on the day of your visit at the ticket office onsite, advance purchases are strongly recommended, especially if you plan to visit in high season.
